We pulled the live Google rating and review count for all the gyms in Skipton (checked 4 October 2026), ranked on rating first and review count to break ties. Every figure below is real and correct at the time of writing. Nobody paid to be on this list, and ratings move, so a quick check before you go is worthwhile.
How we ranked them: highest Google star rating first, ties broken by number of reviews. 5 of these have fewer than 50 reviews, so they are listed after the better-evidenced ones.

The verdict
On Google rating, UNITY ranks first of the 11 gyms we checked, with 5 stars from 73 Google reviews.
How we ranked them
- Which businesses: every listing for gyms on Google Maps in Skipton with a genuine local address and a public rating. National chains and businesses that don't fit the category are left out.
- Order: Google star rating, highest first, ties broken by review count. Places with fewer than 50 reviews come after the rest, and places with fewer than 10 reviews are not ranked at all.
- "Mentioned" counts: these come from the review topics Google shows on each listing. We haven't picked or edited them.
- Nobody paid to be on this list, and nobody can pay to move up it.
