Choosing an AI Consultant in North Yorkshire: What an Estate Agent Should Ask

Why estate agents make a useful example

This directory lists 110 estate agents, counted on 10 October 2026: 31 in Harrogate, 19 in Scarborough, 13 in Selby, 12 in Malton, nine each in Skipton and Ripon, eight in Northallerton, five in Whitby and four in the villages. Nearly all of them list a website. Their work is full of small deadlines. A valuation request, a viewing question or a landlord asking about a tenancy comes in, and whoever answers first often gets the instruction.

Imagine a Malton branch whose one negotiator is out on viewings all Saturday. Three web enquiries arrive. Nobody replies until Monday. By then one of those people has spoken to a rival.

Three things a consultant can mean

An adviser tells you what could be automated and leaves you with a document. That suits a firm with its own technical person.

A builder sets the thing up. The enquiry gets an answer, the details land in your system, the vendor gets a nudge if they go quiet.

A trainer teaches your staff to use tools they have already bought.

Many people sell all three under the same label, so the first job is to find out which one you are talking to.

Three questions to ask

1. What will exist at the end? A report, a working agent, or a trained team? Get it in one sentence.
2. Which of my tools does it live in? Your email, diary and messaging, rather than a new dashboard nobody opens.
3. What happens when it is unsure? A sensible setup passes the awkward case to a person and says so.

If the answers are vague, keep looking.

Where Dean Keating fits

He builds AI agents and installs them where your team already works, then trains the team and supports it. His website says you leave the free first call with a plan you can use with or without him, and that the price is given after that call with no obligation. He starts with the single task that will help most.

He is in Horndean, Hampshire, a long way south of every town on this site, and does the work remotely. If you would rather have a Yorkshire face across the desk, say so early and talk to providers based in North Yorkshire too. He also publishes this directory, so put the same three questions to at least one other firm. His own guide to consultants who install rather than advise goes into the first question further. For a list of firms that say they are based in the county, see AI consultants in North Yorkshire. You can browse the estate agents on this site to see who else is in your area.
